A pair of Pileated Woodpeckers, male and female work their way up a wonderfully textured tree. These two birds follow a somewhat regular foraging routine bringing them into our area each morning and evening, announced by their wonderful call. Various critters adorn the tree along with a large stick bug hoping not be noticed.
