This Particular bird has been something I have wanted to paint for a long time, but I have learned to be patient. I have painted several Spoonbills, all with a supporting background, in this one I wanted to really get into the feathers, colors and expression of this magnificent bird. In this piece the Spoonbill is dominant and featured, a befitting presentation for such a beautiful bird!
