It seems I've been winning a few awards lately, with the latest last weekend at The Arts Fest in Stuart, Florida. The Best in Show Award was a wonderful surprise and I am very grateful for the award. After so many years doing juried art festivals, it is still pretty cool to win an award, particularly this one.
Suzanne Northcutt, Tom Bollinger and Earl Bosworth were the three judges for the show and they made sure each artist got a good look. Once again, this is where art shows are really cool to me, because the people you meet, the stories you share, seeing old friends again...it’s all good stuff! I had an opportunity to talk with Tom and Suzanne on Sunday and it was a real pleasure meeting them both.
And by the way, they are both fine artists! You can google them and see their work. I sold two sets of the new Great Egrets. My friends and collectors Jodi and Hank Stevens took home one pair of new Great Egrets!!!, Thanks again. I look forward to next year in Stuart!
